Good afternoon, James Short Memorial School families. It's been an absolute pleasure getting acquainted with our vibrant school community over the past three days as Acting Principal. From engaging with our students and staff to witnessing the excitement of swimming lessons firsthand, I've been truly inspired by the energy and enthusiasm within the school. You'll often find me on the playground before and after school, eager to connect and hear your thoughts. Please introduce yourself, I look forward to meeting you. 

We will be sending out a weekly communication every Friday afternoon. 

Volunteer Tea 

Invitations have been sent home to families that have volunteered this school year.  Please RSVP to Mrs. Boutillier @ miboutillier@cbe.ab.ca.  We look forward to seeing you May 16th at 2:45pm in the Learning Commons.   

Art Walk 

We will be hosting an Art Walk Open House to celebrate and showcase student learning on May 16th from 4pm to 5pm.  Everyone is welcome.
