Teacher Conferences – March 19/20
Please book a 15 minute appointment to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss their learning. Conference Manager opens on Monday March 9th. Please access Conference Manager through your PowerSchool account. Conferences will run Thursday March 19th from 5:00pm-7:30pm and Friday March 20th from 9:00am-12:30pm.
Student Pick-Up During the School Day
To help protect valuable instructional time, we are making a small change to our student pick-up process. When families arrive at the school to pick up their child during the school day, please check in at the office as usual. At that time, our office staff will call your child down from class once you have arrived.
This change will help ensure that students remain in their classrooms learning for as long as possible, rather than waiting in the office and missing instructional time. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep students engaged in their learning throughout the day.
Language and Reading – Live Online Session for Parents
You’re invited to join CBE speech-language pathologists in a session aimed at learning how to support language development and building reading skills. We’ll focus on building language skills through shared reading experiences and playing with sounds during everyday activities. This is a live online two-part series intended for caregivers of kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2 students. Please note children’s attendance is not required. Click here for attached information.
